Terms of Service

Creating a Fryndo account, or using the app or this website, means you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not create an account — and if you already have one, delete it.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be legally able to enter a contract where you live.
• You must not have been removed from Fryndo before.
• You must not be required to register as a sex offender in any jurisdiction.
• One person, one account. Accounts are personal and cannot be sold, shared or transferred.

We verify your phone number at sign-up, which is what enforces the one-account rule in practice.

Your account is tied to your phone number, and access is proved with a one-time code sent to it. Keep control of that number: anyone who can receive its SMS can sign in, and can delete the account.

You are responsible for what your account does. If you lose your number or think someone else has access, write to support@fryndo.com immediately and we will suspend it while we sort it out.

Your photos, your bio, your messages — they stay yours. You give us a licence to host, store, resize and display them for the sole purpose of running Fryndo: showing your profile to other users, delivering your messages, and generating the thumbnails the app needs. That licence ends when the content is deleted.

We do not use your content in advertising, we do not licence it to anyone else, and we do not use your conversations to train models.

You promise the content is yours to post: your own photos, of you, taken with the consent of anyone else in them.

The rules are short. Do not:

• Impersonate anyone, or use photos of a person who is not you.
• Harass, threaten, stalk or abuse another user.
• Post nudity, sexual content involving anyone under 18, or anything violent or hateful.
• Solicit money, promote a business, run a scam, or funnel people to another platform.
• Share another user's photos, messages or details outside Fryndo.
• Scrape, automate, reverse-engineer, or attack the service or its users.
• Use Fryndo if you are under 18, or help anyone under 18 do so.

The Community Guidelines spell out how these are enforced. Breaking them can cost you your account without a refund and without notice.

We verify numbers, review reports and remove accounts. What we cannot do is vouch for anyone. We do not run criminal background checks, and a verified rosette means a photo check was passed — nothing more.

Fryndo is free to use: matching, messaging and calls are not paywalled. Premium adds visibility and filtering — see who liked you, unlimited likes, advanced filters, a boost and read receipts.

• Subscriptions are sold and billed through Google Play, not by us directly.
• They renew automatically until cancelled, at the price shown at purchase.
• Cancel any time in Play Store → Subscriptions. You keep premium until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy; we cannot process a refund for a purchase we never took payment for.
• Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in Play Store first, or Google keeps billing you for an account you can no longer use.

You can leave whenever you like, with no reason and no exit interview: from Settings in the app, or from the deletion page. The account closes immediately and everything on it is erased permanently after 30 days — a window that exists so a deletion you did not mean can still be undone. Write to us with your deletion reference inside it and we will restore the account; after it, there is nothing left to restore.

We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or the guidelines, that puts other users at risk, or that we are legally required to remove. Where it is safe and lawful to explain why, we will. Serious safety cases get acted on first and explained after.

Fryndo is provided as it is. We do not promise you will meet anyone, that the service will never go down, or that every profile is who they say they are. The compatibility score is a ranking signal, not a prediction, and certainly not advice.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the conduct of another user — online or in person. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Where liability can be capped, it is capped at whatever you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction — except where the law of the place you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally, which we do not try to take away. Before anyone files anything, write to support@fryndo.com. Most disputes are a misunderstanding that an email fixes.

We update these terms as the product changes. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top always tells you which version you are reading. Continuing to use Fryndo after a change means accepting it.
