Community Guidelines
A dating app is only as good as the people on it. These are the rules that keep Fryndo worth opening — and what happens when someone ignores them.

- Applies to
- Profiles, messages, calls
- Reports reviewed by
- A person, every time
01Be a real person, being yourself
- Use recent photos of yourself, with your face visible in at least one.
- No photos of anyone else, no celebrity pictures, no images you found online.
- No group shots as your only photo — nobody should have to guess which one you are.
- Your age must be your real age. Everything downstream depends on it.
- One account per person. A second profile is a fake profile, even if both are you.
Photo verification is optional but it is the fastest way to show you are real, and it unlocks the verified-only filter for people who use it.
02Consent, every step
Fryndo is built so nothing happens to you without your agreement: nobody can message you until you match or accept a request, and nobody can call you unless you matched. Extend that same respect in the conversations you are in.
- No unsolicited sexual messages or images. Ever. Not once, not as a joke.
- No pressure to move to WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram or anywhere else.
- No means no, silence means no, and unmatching is an answer.
- Do not screenshot and share someone's profile, photos or messages.
03What gets an account removed
These end an account, usually on the first offence:
- Anyone under 18, or any sexual content involving a minor. Reported to the authorities as well as removed.
- Harassment, threats, stalking, or contacting someone after they blocked you.
- Hate speech or slurs aimed at anyone's caste, religion, race, gender, sexuality, disability or nationality.
- Nudity or sexually explicit imagery in profiles or unsolicited in chat.
- Scams: investment tips, crypto, gift cards, emergencies that need money, or any request for a payment.
- Prostitution, trafficking, or the sale of anything illegal.
- Impersonation, catfishing, or a profile built from someone else's photos.
- Promotion — recruiting for a business, an MLM, a channel or a cause.
- Violence, self-harm content, or the encouragement of either.
If someone asks you for money
Stop. It is a scam, however long you have been talking and however convincing the story is. Do not send anything, take a screenshot, report the profile, and block. We remove these accounts fast, and every report helps us find the rest of the network.
04How reporting works
- Blocking is instant and mutual: the match closes, the thread disappears from both inboxes, and neither profile appears in the other's Discover again.
- Reporting is separate and private. The person you report is never told who reported them.
- A person reviews every report. Serious safety reports jump the queue.
- Outcomes range from a warning to permanent removal, depending on what happened and what came before.
- Reports are kept even after an account is deleted, so a removed account cannot quietly come back.
Filing a knowingly false report to get someone removed is itself a violation of these guidelines.
05If we get it wrong
Moderation involves judgement, and judgement is sometimes wrong. If your account was actioned and you believe it should not have been, email support@fryndo.com from the number or address on the account with anything that helps. A different person reviews the appeal. What we will not reverse is a removal for age (18+) or for content involving a minor.
06Meeting safely
- Video call before you meet. It is the cheapest way to confirm someone is who they say.
- First meeting in a public place, at a time you chose.
- Tell a friend where you are going and when you expect to be back.
- Arrange your own transport, both ways.
- Keep your drink with you, and leave the moment you want to.
- Never send money, gift cards or account details to someone you met online.
More detail, including how verification and blocking actually work, is on the safety page.
Report anything that feels wrong
Open the profile or the chat, tap the menu, choose Report. You can block at the same time — the two are separate buttons, and blocking never waits on our review. Urgent safety concerns go to safety@fryndo.com.
