Delete your Fryndo account

This is the same deletion the app performs from Settings, available here so you can use it without installing anything. Confirm the phone number on the account with a one-time code and your account closes on the spot; everything on it is erased for good 30 days later.

Open Fryndo, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account, and confirm. It runs exactly the same deletion as this page, on the same timetable.

How it happens

The moment you confirm

Your account closes

You are signed out on every device and your profile is hidden. Nobody can find you in Discover, open your profile, or start a conversation with you, and you cannot sign back in.

30 days later

Everything is erased

Profile, photos, interests, likes, matches, conversations and messages are deleted permanently. Until that date the data still exists, hidden — which is the only reason a mistaken deletion can still be undone.

What gets deleted on day 30

  • Profile: name, age, gender, bio, education, occupation, location and every onboarding answer
  • All photos, deleted from storage as well as from the profile
  • Likes and super likes, in both directions
  • Matches, and the conversations that came from them
  • Every message you sent, including voice notes and shared media
  • Friend requests, sent and received
  • Blocks you created, and notifications addressed to you
  • Device sessions and push tokens — every device is signed out
  • The link between your phone number and the account, so the number is free again

What we keep, and why

Safety reports about your account

Deleting them would erase the other person's report as well. They are kept without your profile attached, so a banned account cannot simply be recreated.

Payment records for premium

Google Play holds the transaction, and tax law requires the record to be kept for a fixed period. It contains no dating activity.

Encrypted backups

Restore points roll off on a 30-day cycle after the erasure. Nothing is read out of them, and after that window no copy of your data exists anywhere.

Changed your mind inside the 30 days? Email privacy@fryndo.com with your deletion reference and we will put the account back as it was. The full picture is in the retention section of the privacy policy.

Signed up with Google and never added a phone number? Delete from the app under Settings, or email privacy@fryndo.com from the address on the account.

Trouble deleting? Email privacy@fryndo.com and we will handle it within 30 days, as the law requires.
